The chore and reward chart app for toddlers and preschoolers
Spark is a chore chart app that replaces the sticker chart on the fridge. Set up your child’s morning routine, bedtime, potty training, and chores, then tap each one when it’s done. Every tap is a star toward a reward you pick together, and the full-screen Show view lets your little one see how far they’ve come.
Free to use. No ads. Made for parents, so your child never needs their own device.
Good morning!
Look what you
did today!
How Spark works
Set it up in two minutes. After that, it’s one tap per habit.
Pick habits
Add your child’s name and age, and Spark suggests routines that fit, from “Use the potty” for toddlers to “Pack backpack” for kindergarteners. Choose the days and the time of day for each one.
Tap when done
When a habit is done, tap it. Every tap is a star and a little celebration. A gentle reminder can nudge you in the morning, afternoon, or at bedtime.
Show your child their progress
Turn the phone around. The Show view gives your child big pictures of what they did today and how many stars are left until their reward.
Routines you can set up in a minute
Start from a ready-made routine or build your own. Each one has a step-by-step guide.
Morning routine
Potty, dressed, breakfast, teeth, shoes.
Read the guide →Bedtime routine
Bath, pajamas, teeth, story, lights out.
Read the guide →Potty training
A star for every try, not just every success.
Read the guide →Clean-up and chores
Toys away, clothes in the hamper, help set the table.
Read the guide →Brushing teeth
Morning and night, every day, with no arguing over whose turn it is.
Read the guide →Reward goals
Pick a reward and a star target together.
Read the guide →Built for ages 2 to 6
Toddlers and preschoolers can’t read a list or wait a month for a reward. They understand pictures, and they understand stars they can count. Spark’s reward charts keep goals short and visible, so your child sees progress every day.
Spark is parent-only on purpose. There are no games, ads, or accounts for kids. You hold the phone, and your child gets the fun part: the stars and the celebration.
Rewards
Rewards they understand
Set a goal like “a trip to the zoo” and a star target. When the jar is full, give the reward and start again.
Progress
See the week at a glance
Streaks count the days when every scheduled habit was done. Days off don’t break them.
Family
The whole family, in sync
Invite a partner, grandparent, or sitter. Whoever checks off a habit, everyone sees the same stars.
Spark vs. a paper chart
Paper charts are great, and we make free ones too. But fridge charts get lost, stickers run out, and only the person standing in the kitchen knows what’s been done.
| Paper chart | Spark | |
|---|---|---|
| Stickers and charts to restock | Every week | Never |
| Both parents see what’s done | Only at home | Yes, on every phone |
| Works at grandma’s or on vacation | If you remember it | Yes |
| Reminders | No | Morning, afternoon, and bedtime |
| Streaks and history | Until it’s thrown away | Every week, saved |
| Works without a phone | Yes | Print a fridge chart from the app |
Free printables

Questions parents ask
What age is Spark for?
Spark is made for kids ages 2 to 6, the years when picture charts and stars work best. Habit suggestions change with your child’s age, from “Use the potty” for 2 year olds to “Pack backpack” for kindergarteners.
Does my child need their own device?
No. Spark is a parent app: you check off habits on your phone. When it’s time to celebrate, turn your phone around and open the full-screen Show view, which uses big pictures your child can read without words.
Is Spark free?
Yes. The free plan covers one child, up to five habits, stars, celebrations, the Show view, and one reward goal at a time. Spark Plus ($4.99/month) adds more children and habits, family sharing, full history, and printable charts. Checking off habits is never behind a paywall.
Can two parents share it?
Yes. With Spark Plus, invite a partner, grandparent, or sitter with a code. Everyone sees the same children, habits, and stars, and one subscription covers the whole family.
Does Spark have ads or tracking?
No. Spark has no ads and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we never sell your data.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Spark. Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Ready for a few more stars?
Spark is coming soon to iPhone and Android.
